The Power of Water
The body is 76 percent water. At least that’s what some experts say. Which means that water is the most plentiful thing in the body. I’ve always been a water drinker from the time I was in high school. But the last few years I’ve found that keeping on point and thinking clearly it takes a whole lot more water.
Maybe it’s because as you get older your body flushes out more toxins or has more metabolic processes that are going on to recreate all the tissues and clean it all out. What ever it is, I think it’s crucial to good health, and keeping your body going at optimal levels.
They say that the first sign of dehydration is that you feel groggy and your eyes start to wander. So if you start to wander it could very well be that you are in need of some water. They also say that we live in a state of chronic dehydration. So if you want to be healthy and stay on top of your game, then drink your body weight in ounces of water a day.
I’ve recently began drinking Evian instead of regular water and I can really tell a difference. I’m not sure why, but I think it has something to do with the PH of the water. If you haven’t tried it you should just go for it and try it for a couple days and see how it works for you.
